Talent is already visible across your organization. You just need to know where to look.
Star Tracks™ uses knowledge distributed across an organization’s collaboration network to identify people who are recognised by colleagues as demonstrating behaviours closest to a defined target profile.

Your organization knows more about its talent than job titles reveal.
Star Tracks™ uses a competency-based approach. The organization defines behavioural indicators for the talent profile it is looking for, and colleagues then identify people whose observed behaviours most closely match that profile.
How does Star Tracks™ work?
Talent identification is based on a 4-step process confronting defined criteria with nominations across the collaboration network:
Define the target profile
The organization defines the talent criteria using specific behavioural indicators.
Team nominations
Participants nominate people who best demonstrate the defined target behaviours.
Network analysis
Star Tracks™ analyses both the number of nominations and their weighting based on the frequency of contact within the collaboration network.
Rankings and insight
The report presents the synthetic Indeks ST™ (ST Index) together with multidimensional views of the people identified.
Number of nominations and Indeks ST™
In Star Tracks™ methodology, significance lies not only in the number of nominations, but also in the distance across the organizational network:
Indeks ST™ incorporates both the number of nominations and their weighting based on distance in the organizational network. Nominations from people who work with an individual less frequently receive a higher weight in the analysis.
There is no single type of talent.
The official Star Tracks™ report provides not only a general ranking, but also distinguishes characteristic operational profiles within the organization:
Stars visible from afar
People who receive the highest number of nominations from their most distant collaborators. Their behaviours are recognised even by colleagues who work with them relatively infrequently.
Local leaders
People who receive the highest number of nominations from regular collaborators — those who work with them frequently and recognise their behaviours in everyday cooperation.
Versatile stars
People whose profiles show the broadest range of behaviours included in the questionnaire, where a behaviour is recognised by at least three people.
Behaviour champions
People receiving the highest number of nominations for specific behavioural indicators.
