Is people’s time being spent where it is really needed?
Task Navigator™ helps identify which tasks are performed in a role, how important they are, how effectively they are carried out and how much time they consume. It makes it possible to assess work effectiveness against the real requirements of the role.

A high workload does not always mean work is allocated well.
Task Navigator™ brings together task importance, execution quality and time spent, providing a structured view of work effectiveness across roles and teams.
Five measures of task effectiveness
The Task Navigator™ report presents assessment results using five distinct measures:
Skala Kontekstowa®
Assessment of task execution across four zones — insufficient, sufficient, optimal or excessive — relative to the requirements of the role.
Spektrum Dopasowania™ (Fit Spectrum)
Determines whether task execution is appropriate — sufficient or optimal — or inappropriate — insufficient or excessive.
Indeks TN™ (TN Index)
A numerical interpretation of task execution quality on Skala Kontekstowa®, expressed on a scale from -100 to +100.
Indeks Ważności™ (Importance Index)
A numerical interpretation of task importance, expressed on a scale from 0 to 1000.
Kwadrat Efektywności™ (Efficiency Matrix)
A synthesis of task importance and execution quality that classifies each task into one of four key decision areas.
Kwadrat Efektywności™
The Kwadrat Efektywności™ (Efficiency Matrix) classifies tasks by combining their importance with the quality of execution:
Optimal effectiveness
Important tasks performed to a sufficient or optimal standard, and less important tasks performed to a sufficient standard.
Probably underinvested
Important tasks performed to an insufficient standard.
Probably overinvested
Important tasks performed excessively, as well as less important tasks performed to an optimal or excessive degree.
Reconsider
Less important tasks performed to an insufficient standard.
* Time spent on individual tasks provides an additional analytical dimension and is considered alongside the results of Kwadrat Efektywności™.
Three questions about every task
Task Navigator™ analyses role responsibilities across three core dimensions:
How important is the task?
The importance of the task expressed through Indeks Ważności™.
How is it being performed?
A qualitative assessment of execution on Skala Kontekstowa®, using Indeks TN™ and Spektrum Dopasowania™.
How much time does it take?
The estimated weekly amount of time spent performing the task.
Task Navigator™ Report
Review the structure of the official Task Navigator™ Report presenting task rankings, Kwadrat Efektywności™ and coaching reflection.
- •Importance + Quality + Time: Three complementary task rankings for the role.
- •Kwadrat Efektywności™: Classification of tasks into four decision areas.
- •Self-assessment and respondent feedback: Comparison of self-assessment with feedback from other respondents.
- •Individual work-effectiveness coaching: Reflection and a practical development action plan.
